Hollywood carries with it people from all walks of life. Most people have traveled across country to live out their dreams leaving their family behind. Amongst the melting pot of people after a year or so of finding the ropes, I was able to find a family in Hollywood. Continuing on from my recent journey to Bali, I thought I would introduce you all to my “Eat, Pray, Love”, Hollywood guru who I call my “Nanny”. Esther Ting, a 70 year old acupuncturist with a spirit and energy of a 30 year old, has become my nanny sharing with me her wisdom, kind heart, and support.
Esther has been an inspiration to me teaching me how to enjoy life to the fullest, be true to myself, and help others. Esther amazes me as she attends Zumba dance class every morning and can shake it like no other. I could barely keep up with her. She also gave me a new appreciation and love for nature. After class she always takes a walk around the pond and reflects on the beautiful earth that we are blessed with each and every day.
Esther has taught me a technique to get your energy flowing and increase circulation. It’s super simple and only takes 5 minutes to complete. Tap your arms, legs, and body with your hands to get the blood flowing. Esther promises this technique will jump start your day and stresses to always to do it with a smile.
